Absolute Marketing
What is your approach to helping clients identify and solve key challenges? At Absolute Marketing, I help clients identify their key challenges by stripping away the noise. In my Power Day sessions, we focus on practical, done-with-you strategies that are fast, sustainable, and tailored to each business. Whether it’s clarifying a brand message, simplifying content systems, or creating an actual year’s worth of marketing in just a few days, the goal is always the same: clarity, consistency, and results. No fluff. No “someday” plans. Just smart marketing that gets results.
How do you tailor your coaching or consulting style to different industries?Every business needs clarity, consistency, and a marketing system that doesn’t suck the life out of their schedule. That’s the core of my coaching style. I’ve worked with everyone from realtors to therapists to tech startups to hairdressers, and while their audiences are wildly different, the process stays grounded: simplify the message, systemize the marketing, and build something they can maintain.
What are the most common misconceptions about consulting?Too many clients have come up to me and said “I got a plan from my coach”. But where was the accountability, the follow through? Most business owners don’t need more ideas; they need clarity, structure, and a little accountability. That’s where I come in with bite size actionable plans that we focus on in our short term consulting sessions. And no, there are no year long contracts here. Consulting to me is lets get you in, fix the issues, take action on the plan and then get you on your way.
How do you measure the success of your client engagements? For me, success is when the plan gets implemented, the overwhelm goes down, and the results start showing up. I don’t hand you a binder full of ideas and walk away. I give you bite-sized, actionable steps we tackle together in short-term consulting sessions. We focus, we fix, and we move. No dragging things out with endless calls or year-long contracts.
When my clients leave saying, “I finally did the thing,” that’s the win. Clarity + structure + accountability = real progress. Simple as that.
What trends are influencing the future of consulting and coaching? Most people are going to ChatGPT and others to get their questions answered. Sadly this does not take into account the years of experience and client successes that many consultants and coaches have had over the years. AI only knows what it read on the internet, and most of us know where that can get you! Once the AI users realize (as some of them already are) that they can have AI write them all the plans in the world, but will this really motivate you to complete these tasks? And are they even what you need to be doing for your business or are they just a collection of things the internet spit into an algorithm? But when you have a qualified individual giving you real feedback and encouraging you along the way, your results are inevitable.
What’s the most rewarding part of your work?Seeing a client have that AHA moment that this is not as scary or expensive or overwhelming as they initially thought!
What skills do you think are essential for future consultants or coaches?Listening, research, experience with real world clients, and nunchuck skills of course!
