Short company description:
Daughters Unleashed LLC equips women of faith to lead with clarity, authority, and strategic structure. We provide coaching and training that helps emerging leaders organize their vision, build sustainable business models, and expand their influence with integrity. Our focus is developing strong foundations that support both personal leadership and marketplace impact.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned over your career?
The most important lesson I have learned is courage.
Leadership requires the willingness to stand for what is right, even when it is uncomfortable and even when you are standing alone. I often think of the poem First They Came by Martin Niemöller. Its warning is simple: when we remain silent in the face of injustice, eventually there may be no one left to stand with us.
Courage is not the absence of fear. It is choosing to act while you are afraid. Some of the decisions that shape our lives and protect others are the very ones that feel the most intimidating. Over time I have learned that the moments that require the most courage often carry the greatest significance. When something matters, you step forward anyway.
What nonprofit do you have a heart for and how do you support it?
I have a deep commitment to the local church. I believe it is one of the most consistent forces for spiritual formation, community stability, and global outreach. I support my church through financial giving and by volunteering my time, whether teaching TESOL classes or serving in practical roles such as the nursery. I value serving in both visible and unseen ways because both matter.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
My favorite way to serve is through teaching. I teach ESL, and I also mentor women who are starting or structuring their businesses. I enjoy helping people gain clarity and confidence. Whether someone is learning English or learning how to lead, I love watching that moment when understanding turns into courage.
If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
If I could be remembered for one thing, it would be this: that people left my presence knowing they were valued and deeply loved. I would want them to understand that their worth is not tied to their background, their language, their success, or their failures. Every person carries dignity. And for me, that conviction flows from my faith in Jesus Christ. He has walked with me through some of the most difficult seasons of my life, and I stand today because of that faithfulness. If people left feeling seen, strengthened, and aware that they are loved by God and respected as individuals, that would be the legacy I hope to leave.

James:
Hi. Welcome to On A Mission, where we highlight those in our community that are really doing great work for the Kingdom. I’m James Fenimore, and joining me today, we have a very special guest, Jasmine Gordon.
Jasmine, how are you doing?
Jasmine:
Well, thank you for having me.
James:
Thank you so much for being here.
You do some amazing work, and I really want to highlight it right out of the gate.
So talk to me about your work with women, the name of your company, and what you’re doing with them.
Jasmine:
I am the CEO of Daughters Unleashed LLC, and I help women understand their spiritual authority in Jesus Christ to build the mission that He’s given inside of their heart and use that to support themselves and to take the mission, the mission Dei, which is the Great Commission of the gospel to the nations.
James:
For some of our viewers, they may not understand spiritual authority. Can you speak to that?
Jasmine:
Our spiritual authority comes from Jesus Christ. He gave it to us in Matthew 28 when He told us to go into all the nations and make disciples.
We are to share the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world, to all the four corners.
James:
When you work with these women, who typically comes to you?
Jasmine:
A lot of my women are going through life changes, whether that be divorce or losing a job.
They feel like they’ve lost who they are.
So we help them find their purpose, identify their gifts, and then use what they already have.
I often use the story of the widow and Elijah. She thought she had nothing, but she had a little bit of oil, and God multiplied it.
The gifts inside these women are already there. We just help them use them to support their families and share the gospel.
James:
So you’re combining worldly work with godly work?
Jasmine:
Absolutely.
I believe the next great revival will happen in the workplace.
We often think of missions as overseas, but the workplace is a mission field too.
James:
What about women who say they don’t know their purpose at all?
Jasmine:
We go back to the basics.
We walk through their story, identify patterns, and use my framework to bring clarity.
James:
That’s incredible.
I think a lot of people underestimate the skills they already have, especially moms or those who’ve been out of the workforce.
That experience translates into so many opportunities.
You also mentioned you’re a teacher. Tell us about that.
Jasmine:
I am an ESOL teacher.
I teach people from different countries how to speak English.
It’s one of my greatest passions.
Watching them learn and grow is amazing.
James:
You really integrate people into new environments, whether through language or purpose.
My hat’s off to you. Thank you for the work you’re doing.
Jasmine:
Thank you for having me.
James:
