Each week on “On a Mission” we talk to community leaders who are out to make a positive impact in the area. Today, our host Jack Sears talks with Kimberly Stephens of The Practitioner’s Pen LLC.

Short company description:

The Practitioner’s Pen LLC was created so that I could reach more people through writing and help them understand health, wellness, and medical information. It has expanded to include telehealth services for men’s health and weight loss.

How do you define success?

Financial goals being met is a tangible measure of success, of course. However, by itself, wealth can be hollow. In my work, success is achieved when I help people understand their bodies and health and when I help them make changes that improve how they think. Being happy and finding joy in the day’s experience is my definition of success.

What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?

I love donating my writing skills to non-profits or groups who need my help. I can write non-medical as well! Providing medical care to people is my most common way to help the community.

What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?

To reach the quota of patients that I have determined for both telehealth services. I would like to triple my current writing client list. I have a very specific revenue goal that I will achieve in the next 12 months.
